BRENNAN STANDS ALONE FOUNDATION
On May 7, 2008, US Army 1st Lt. Brian Brennan of Howell, NJ, an Operation Enduring Freedom combat veteran, was seriously injured in Afghanistan when an IED exploded under the humvee in which he was traveling. The attack took the lives of two soldiers and a civilian. Lt. Brennan and Specialist Ryan Price of California were the only two survivors. Lt. Brennan suffered cardiac arrest, multiple fractures and traumatic brain injury. He returned home a double amputee.
Lt. Brennan’s road to recovery can only be described as miraculous. He has become an inspiration to all who have met him.
The outpouring of love and support he received from family, friends and the community was overwhelming and gave him the resolve to recover from his injuries.
Lt. Brennan’s passion to give back and help others facing the same struggles he endured has led to the establishment of the “Brennan Stands Alone Foundation”. The Foundation was created to ease the burden of routine stress for those injured in the line of duty in order that they may focus on treatment and rehabilitation.
Donations made to the Foundation will aid in our mission to ease the trauma of those who have sacrificed for our country.
